Susac Invited To MLB PDP

Anthony “Tonko” Susac (Jesuit) received some great news today from Harold Reynolds via Twitter. Susac has been invited to Major League Baseball’s Prospect Development Pipeline premier event this Summer.

2020 MLB Prospect Development Pipeline Premier events are conducted on an invite only basis, featuring the top amateur baseball players in each selected region.

During PDP Premier events, athletes will participate in an athletic assessment, performance vision screening, on-field wood bat batting practice inclusive of swing analysis, infield/outfield session, and select events will include on-field gameplay.

Davis Named Preseason All-American

Senior Chase Davis (Franklin) is the lone Sacramento regional player named to the 2020 MaxPreps preseason high school All-American Baseball Team.

The 6-foot-1, 195-pound Davis has emerged as one of the nation’s top outfielders after earning All-Metro honors by the Sacramento Bee. He batted .284 with 21 RBI, 33 runs, seven doubles and four home runs.

Florida, California and Texas dominate the team, combining for nearly half of the 30-member team. The Sunshine and Golden state each have five members on the team while Texas has four.
